The permanent exhibition shows 932 works, paintings of the artists of the modern period: Teodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Gheoghe Petrascu, Theodor Pallady, Nicolae Tonitza, Stefan Dimitrescu, Francisc Sirato, Stefan Popescu, Jean Al. Steriadi, Iosif Iser, Camil Ressu, Nicolae Darascu, Samuel Mutzner, Petre Iorgulescu Yor, Vasile Popescu, Marius Bunescu, Cecilia Cutescu Storck, Ion Tuculescu, Lucia Dem-Balacescu, Dimitrie Gheata si din perioada contemporana: Alexandru Ciucurencu, Corneliu Baba and others.
          The core of this collection is represented by the 14 works belonging to Victor Brauner, notorious avant-garde period artist.
